Dr. Sue Yie Mon Zin represents the fourth generation of her family’s legacy in the gems and jewellery industry, with more than two decades of hands-on experience in the field. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Monash University, Australia, completed the Accredited Jewelry Professional (A.J.P.) program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and earned her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Northampton, UK. Her doctoral research focused on the factors influencing consumer buying decisions on gold, gems and jewellery in Myanmar. Since expanding the family business to Australia in 2012, Dr. Sue has continued to broaden her industry knowledge through international gems and jewellery trade shows and global market exposure. As an instructor at Sule Mogok Gems Trading, she is honoured to share the practical knowledge, academic insights, and industry experience gained throughout her lifelong journey in the world of gems and jewellery.
